Subscriptions, trials and refunds
FlareBuddy Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple. Your free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends.
- Cancel or change a plan: on your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then FlareBuddy. You can also open Settings inside the app and tap Manage subscription.
- Restore a purchase: on the subscription screen, tap Restore. Use the same Apple Account you subscribed with.
- Refunds: purchases are handled by Apple, so refund requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com. Write to us too if something went wrong and we will help.
- Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Notifications
FlareBuddy sends a heads-up the evening before a harder day, plus an optional daily check-in reminder. They are local reminders from your device, not emergency or medical alerts.
If they stop arriving, check iPhone Settings, then Notifications, then FlareBuddy, and make sure notifications are allowed. Inside the app, Settings shows whether reminders are on and at what time.
Location and forecasts
Location is optional. You can allow it, or tap “Type it instead” and search for any town. Change it any time from the place name at the top of the Today screen.
Forecast data comes from Open‑Meteo. Scores describe the weather conditions ahead — they are not a diagnosis or a prediction of your symptoms.
Your journal and your data
Check-ins, symptoms and notes are stored on your device. There is no account and no cloud journal, so deleting the app or resetting the device removes those entries permanently. Keep your own copy of anything you need to keep.

Something looks wrong
If a score, chart or forecast looks off, send us the town, the day and a screenshot. We check real data against the provider and fix what we find.
