Using FlareBuddy
These terms apply to the FlareBuddy app and website provided by Velocity Apps LLC. By using the service, you agree to these terms. You must be able to enter a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you, or have the necessary permission from a parent or guardian.
Weather context, not medical care
FlareBuddy provides weather information and a personal symptom journal. Weather impact scores are general summaries, not a diagnosis or a prediction of your individual symptoms. The service is not a medical device and does not provide medical treatment, emergency monitoring, or professional medical advice.
Do not change medication or delay care based on a forecast or score. Consult a qualified clinician about medical decisions. Contact local emergency services if you need urgent help.
Your records
You retain ownership of the notes and entries you create. You are responsible for what you enter and for keeping any copies you need. The current app stores journal records on your device; deleting its data or losing the device can result in loss of those records. We do not promise cloud backup or recovery.
Subscriptions and billing
App access requires a subscription. Available annual and monthly plans, prices, currency, billing periods, and any eligible introductory offer are shown before purchase. The store’s purchase confirmation controls the actual terms of the transaction. Development preview prices are examples and cannot be purchased.
Payment is processed by the store where you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in your store subscription settings before the renewal deadline shown by that store; cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
If a free trial is explicitly offered and you are eligible, its duration and subsequent price will be shown before confirmation. Unless canceled before the applicable deadline, the trial converts to a paid subscription. No free trial is promised unless one is offered for your account.
You can restore an eligible subscription using the same store account. Refund requests are handled under the store’s policies and applicable consumer law. Canceling normally stops future renewals rather than immediately ending the already-paid period.
Availability and accuracy
Weather data comes from third-party providers and can be delayed, unavailable, or incorrect. Sample data may be shown when a live feed is unavailable and will be labeled as such. We may update the service and its features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a particular health outcome.
Responsible use
You may use FlareBuddy for your personal purposes. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or infringe another person’s rights. The app’s software, design, and branding remain the property of their respective owners.
Your rights
Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections. Store terms also apply to store purchases. Our handling of information is described in the Privacy policy.

We may revise these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be communicated as required, and the updated date will appear here. Contact us with questions about access, purchases, or these terms.
